Hello, it's been a short while.

Clinical series is published, photo series of 4.

I wanted to cut open and drip feel the rawness of issues a lot of people deal with: depression, self harm, and suicidal tendencies or thoughts.

These issues, I hold very close to my heart. Never have I been clinically/medically been labelled as 'depressed'. But I will tell you that I did. And often I fall into dark holes for a few days. I'm very lucky to have a small handful of supportive lovers that help me open my eyes and pull myself out.

Clinical series is something that came naturally to me, concept wise. I didn't see it until I finished shooting, that this series is highlighting these issues.

There's a lot to say about these issues, but the most important thing I want to say, is... if you are feeling this way... Please please pleassssseeee give people a chance to help you. Please try the hardest you can, to do what you can honestly to help you, and the people around you.
For people who know those suffering depression or self-harm, please actively show support (not just say "i'm here for you" - those are just empty promises). Continue, and struggle to show your love and support to this person(s), try the hardest you can to help them, and yourself.

We are all humans. We all need to be treated with love and support.
By helping people, we help ourselves, our community, and largely, our world.

I'm sorry, this is starting to sound like some stupid peace bullshit. But.. Deep down to my core, I find this true.

out of nowhere i've bombarded DA and you lovely followers with a short series called "Wasted Youth", capturing the rush, the rise, the fall, the junk, the fast fix.

my favourite Bek Debnam is the model, and what a dear she was. Kudos to her for doing this on a cold night.

hello darlings! i've missed you all so much!

if you haven't already noticed, i've started to creep back into photography...
FYI, i broke my collarbone and had surgery, and recently been recovering with phsyio.

i don't know why i haven't yet, but i have been making other art while i couldn't hold camera (&) equipment.
actually, i'll post them up pronto...

i've thought about DA community, and the things i love are:
- i can post everything i do - from real simple play-around stuff, to the art i produce professionally
- i have very lovely followers and DA'ists that leave very sweet and helpful comments to help me out as an artist
- i can put so much info about my deviations, which lets me tell my story, or the people who have helped make the art
- i can see my work grow from my earliest deviations
- i can be honest with my work and not be afraid

thank you for supporting my work, i really appreciate everything you guys have done... from comments, favourites, collections, group adds to watches.

yes, i have been M.I.A... and for those wondering, i am recovering well from my surgery.
i've been turning drawings and paintings to keep my creativity going.. but i'd very much like to return back into photography.

i hope to take more sensual & intimate shots, as well as fashion shoots (over glamour shoots).

and soon, pack my bags and move to Melbourne!!

I always find myself trying to remember my dreams, and when I can.... I find that there's usually a sequence (be it once or a few times over).

My Kaleidoscope Dream series renders a vague feeling of the dream state, while painting colours and feeling into clothing pieces, kindly supplied by Pigeonhole.

Gemma Louise Taylor from Scene Model Management is the model for this series, and Natalie Lucas is the Make-up artist.
